“My legs feel the best they have ever felt.”

Sarah is an extraordinary ball of energy and positivity. Sarah sees gaps in provision and rises to any challenges with the entrepreneurial spirit that she is gifted with. Over the last two years, our refugee families and our Ukrainian guests have found their time with Sarah’s enterprise as a huge gift, distracting them from their memories of trauma and their daily challenges of navigating life in a place where language isn’t easy and as such, work can be hard to find. Sarah’s love of being in Nature and embracing the outdoor life is something contagious that all who spend time at CEET come to love for themselves.

(Susannah Baker, MBE. The Pickwell Foundation, Refugee and Asylum Director)

“I had the pleasure of joining a CEET group on a short Exmoor walk. It is remarkable to see the dynamism, joy and support within the group that has been cultivated through the care and professionalism of the CEET team. We hear about nature being good for us, about socialising being beneficial, and here in the beautiful Exmoor countryside Sarah brought this together in a relational, light-hearted, vibrant manner.”

(Phil Harris, Recovery Practitioner, Mind, Devon)

“Hi Sarah,

I would just like to add my huge thanks to CEET. You do a fantastic job and the activities are brilliant. If I had a time machine, I would volunteer for your work with the Ukrainian refugees.

All the best Seán Daly BEM”

Dear Sarah,

I wanted to thank you for the Christmas meeting.  Everything was wonderful!  The food was just amazing!  And children's gifts were chosen very precisely.  My son now goes to bed with a panda.  Everyone made the gingerbread house together, and then they also ate it together.  The products that were in the gift helped a lot to set the Christmas table.  Thank you for your work and care!

Filled out the form and sent it.

 Regards, Tetiana.

- Ukrainian mother (and child) who relocated to North Devon in 2022.

“Thank you for organising a fantastic second session for us, Sarah. The children absolutely loved every second and got so much out of it.  It was lovely to see how much progress they'd made and how their confidence had grown.”

-Jemma Tookey, teacher at Pilton Bluecoat Academy (Dec 2022).

“Thank you so so much for all your hard work and dedication, this type of provision is what we have been longing for, for so long! We are super happy we found you!”

-parent from our Home-Education program (Feb, 2022)

“My daughter’s confidence has shot up since being a part of CEET, everyone had said the same and she really does enjoy it. Thank you so much.”

-parent of a child on our after school club who joined CEET in April 2021 (Feb 2022).

“I couldn’t wait to message you to say how my daughter has had a smile from ear to ear and thoroughly enjoyed this morning!! I can’t explain how happy this makes me!! Thank you again and see you soon!”

-parent from our 12-16 Alternative Provision group (September 2023).

“My son has learnt so much and has come so far with your support, being able to be outside and learning in a practical way, his confidence has grown so much. You have got to know my son so well and you have supported him with his social and communication skills and have always known just what things he needs to work on next. Your weekly journal is always amazing and I will treasure this.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. As I always say, but truly mean, your work is incredible and is so very much appreciated.”

-parent of a child from our Alternative Provision groups (December 2023).
